SRA Announces First Zinc Concentrate Delivery

Toronto, Ontario.   April 9, 2008 – Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation (“SRA” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced regular deliveries of zinc concentrate from its Gordonsville mining complex.   

Trucking of the first zinc concentrate shipment of 1,000 dry metric tonnes averaging a grade of over 60% began yesterday to Nyrstar’s smelter in Clarksville about 100 miles away.  Concentrate production at Gordonsville began in mid-March following commissioning of the mill earlier in the month.  For April, shipments of zinc concentrate are expected to exceed 6,000 tonnes. 

“To see first concentrate approach our target grade of 64.5% is encouraging,” commented Victor Wyprysky, President & CEO of SRA. “With regular deliveries of concentrate now underway at Gordonsville and a corresponding measure of start-up risk behind us, we can look towards further ramping up of production and continuing with our scheduled plans for the mining complex”.

Production at the Gordonsville mine is expected to reach 5,000 tons per day by June 2008.  Combined with the Cumberland and Elmwood mines, production from the Mid-Tennessee mining complex is anticipated to reach 7,500 tons per day by fall of this year.

Once in full production, the Gordonsville Complex at MTM is expected to be the largest zinc producer and domestic source of germanium and gallium in the continental USA.
