Prize Mining Announces new Chief Financial Officer

CALGARY, ALBERTA --- Prize Mining Corporation (TSXV: PRZ) is pleased to
report that Mr. Brian Farrell has joined the company as its new Chief
Financial Officer. Mr. Farrell is currently a Director of Prize.

Mr. Farrell is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of financing
and accounting experience. Mr. Farrell has been a partner with three
public accounting firms and CFO to both a large privately held
development company and to a TSXV listed mining corporation. Mr.
Farrell has served on many boards in both the private and public
sectors.

Prize is pleased that Mr. Farrell has agreed to join the management
team as his experience in business transactions and financings will
help the company to continue to grow. Mr. Farrell was sought out by the
company due to his expertise in operating and development companies
and, with Prize moving rapidly towards the development of its Atlin
Gold Project, Mr. Farrell will continue the implementation of
disclosure and internal systems in response to this transition from
exploration to development and in the increased requirements under
Canadian SOX. Bob Ashauer is no longer with the Company.
