Copper Ace Results
======================================================================
Press Release No. 16/2007
Vancouver, BC, Aug 8, 2007 - Copper Ridge announces the results of 7 of
the 13 diamond drill holes completed at its 100% owned Copper Ace
Project, located 2 kilometers northwest of the producing Gibralter
copper-molybdenum mine in central British Columbia. The recently
completed 3219 m program was designed to test coincident IP
chargeability and copper soil geochemical anomalies that occur within
favourable "Mine Series" intrusive rocks along strike from the
Gibraltar open pits.
Analytical results have now been received for holes CA07-04 to CA07-09
and hole CA-07-11. All of the holes intersected the Mine Series
tonalite and all had varying degrees of quartz - sericite alteration
and disseminated sulphide mineralization, including trace to one
percent copper mineralization as chalcopyrite and occasionally bornite,
with local occurrences of molybdenite. Higher concentrations of copper
mineralization generally correlate with stronger foliation, sericite
alteration and quartz veining. The highest intersections include 5 m of
0.12% copper in CA07 - 09 and 0.9 m of greater than 10,000 ppm copper
in hole CA07 - 11 (assay results to determine the actual percentage
values are pending). Gold values were generally low, with the exception
of one intersection in hole CA07-09 which returned 6.3 g/t Au over 0.5m
Significant intersections of anomalous zinc mineralization were also
encountered, including 30.5 m of 2,167 ppm zinc in Hole CA07 - 07 and
27.7 m of 1,783 ppm Zn in Hole CA 07 - 11 (assay results are pending).
In many porphyry copper deposits, including Gibraltar, zinc
mineralization occurs as a halo around the main body of copper
mineralization. The anomalous zinc results can therefore be used to
vector future drill holes towards a possible larger body of copper
mineralizations.
The more significant intersections from the drilling are as follows:

Complete results for the Copper Ace program will be released when they
have been received. Mr. Greg Dawson, VP Exploration for Copper Ridge is
the Qualified Person for the Copper Ace Project and is responsible for
the technical content of this news release. Drilling was carried out by
Peak Drilling of Courtney, BC. Assaying was conducted by Acme
Analytical Laboratories Ltd. of Vancouver.
Copper Ridge's exploration philosophy focuses on maximizing the
potential for success in a high-risk business. With grass roots mineral
exploration, where the entry cost is low but the potential reward can
be very high, success will be contingent on exploration skill and on
carefully managed risk. Our management team brings tenacity, technical
skill and experience, all crucial ingredients for discovery. By
exploring a broad array of projects, focusing on the right commodities,
in areas of high mineral potential and in mining-friendly jurisdictions
and by sharing the risks on some projects with joint venture partners,
Copper Ridge is exposing its shareholders to a greater chance for
discovery. Copper Ridge is well financed for the 2007 field program on
its Yukon and British Columbia properties.
