MRC REPORTS HALF YEARLY EBITDA OF US$8M

Mineral Commodities Ltd ("MRC" or the "Company") today announced half yearly Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) of US$8 million, Profit before tax of US$5.5 million and Profit after tax of US$3.9 million.
The result was underpinned by sales of 24,414 tonnes of Zircon/Rutile concentrate and 228,778 tonnes of Garnet concentrate. Executive Chairman Mr Mark Caruso stated "whilst we are pleased with another solid performance in the first half of the year, there are clear areas where the operations can be optimised to further enhance the profitability of the Company."
Mr Caruso further added; "The Company has previously disclosed its expansion initiatives which are expected to result in an increase in total heavy mineral recovery as set out in the review of operations in the half yearly financial report"
On the back of the solid performance, the Board is assessing its capital management policy and will work towards the declaration of a maiden dividend after the full year results in early 2016.
