Richview Announces Results From Its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

Toronto, Ontario: May 9, 2007: Richview Resources Inc. ("Richview") is pleased to announce that its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders was held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Ontario Bar Association Conference Centre. A number of items of business were put before the shareholders.

Board of Directors
The following individuals were elected to serve as directors of Richview for the ensuing year: Senator J. Trevor Eyton, Sol Prizant, Dino Titaro, Michael Newbury, Trevor Rabie and David Danziger.

Appointment of Auditors
Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Accountants were appointed to act as auditors of Richview for the ensuing year.

Amendment and Restatement of Stock Option Plan
Shareholders approved an amended and restated form of Richview's Stock Option Plan. The Amended Plan increases the maximum number of common shares reserved for issuance from 10,000,000 to a number equal to 10% of Richview's issued and outstanding shares.

Authorization of Re-Pricing of Stock Options
Shareholders approved the cancellation of 2,000,000 stock options exercisable at $0.35 granted to Richview's former President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2006 and the re-granting of 1,250,000 options to such former officer, each option exercisable at $0.20 within five years of the date of grant. The options were granted in accordance with the term of Richview' Stock Option Plan and the rules and policies of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Resolution Empowering the Board to Determine the Number of Directors on the Board
Shareholders also approved a special resolution empowering the board of directors to increase its size by up to a third between annual meetings of shareholders.

In addition, Richview announces that the following individuals have been appointed to serve as officers of Richview for the ensuing year:

President and CEO: Sol Prizant
CFO and Corporate Secretary: Gary Cilevitz
Chairman: Senator J. Trevor Eyton
