MPH Ventures
Extends Structure with Reporting of Latest Assays on Raney Gold Project
Vancouver,
BC ? MPH Ventures Corp. (TSX-V: MPS)
(FWB: IJA1) (the ?Company?) reports results from two
recently completed diamond drill holes on the 100% owned Raney Gold Project
in northeastern Ontario. The holes were designed to test the continuity
of a gold bearing alteration system at the 100 metre level which has returned
an impressive 3.9 g/t over 17.20 metres, including 7.73 g/t Au
over 6.80 metres, in historical hole RAN-08-04.
Hole
R-09-06 intersected a 20 metre wide section of quartz-sericite carbonate
alteration with significant quartz veining, sulphides and a single occurrence
of visible gold. Within this alteration zone, which is located 50 metres east
of the intersection reported in RAN-08-04, a 7.5 metre section averaging 1.66
g/t Au was recorded. Hole R-09-07 intersected an 18 metre wide section
of moderate alteration, returning slightly anomalous gold values. In
addition to the results of these two holes, the structure has been traced for
a strike length of 100 metres, with a near vertical orientation.

The
Company has completed three additional holes, results pending, and initiated
a mechanical trenching program to expose the alteration zone on
surface. Hole R-09-08 was designed as a 25 metre step-out to the east
of RAN-08-04. Holes R-09-09 and R-09-10 are two shallow holes that were
completed to test the up-dip extent of the zone above holes R-99-01 and
RAN-08-04.
MPH
consultant Todd Keast, P.Geo,
commented ?The first two holes completed by MPH demonstrate the continuity of
the structure and degree of alteration within the system. As the
structural pattern becomes clear, we will focus our drilling on higher grade
shoots as demonstrated by the intersection in RAN-08-04. A sheared
porphyry intrusion adjacent to the gold zone and a number of parallel shear
structures have been identified on the property. These are common features
well documented in the prolific gold camps of the Abitibi, and are excellent
exploration
indicators.?
The
exploration program is being carried out under the direction of Todd
Keast, P. Geo. The information in this news release was

The
Company has a quality control program to ensure best practices in the
sampling and analysis of drill core. At the drill site, the BQ size
core is placed in core boxes and delivered to a secure core processing
facility. The core is "split" using a diamond saw by experienced
exploration technicians and logged by Todd
Keast. Half of the core is left in the core box as a
permanent reference of the interval sampled and half of the designated sample
interval is delivered in sealed bags for preparation at ALS Chemex Prep Lab
located in Sudbury, Ontario,
with the pulps shipped to ALS Chemex Assay Laboratory in Vancouver,
B.C. All samples are assayed for gold by Fire Assay with an AA finish,
using 30 gram samples. Accuracy of results are tested through the systematic
inclusion of blanks and reference standards. ALS Chemex is an ISO 17025
certified Laboratory.
