CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) _ Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc. (BW) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $114.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $2.48. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and restructuring costs, were 55 cents per share.
The power generation equipment company posted revenue of $408.7 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $3.91. A year ago, they were trading at $13.25.
