EGM Voting Information

A group of fellow shareholders representing 8.1% of Havilah have called an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held at 10 am on 4th February 2019. They are led by respected mining industry figure, Dr Bob Johnson, who was a joint founder of Havilah and a long term shareholder.
The only resolution to be voted on is the removal of Mr Mark Stewart, Havilah's Chairman, who was elected with a substantial majority of votes just one month ago at the AGM.
Mark is a well qualified and experienced director who brings practical commercial legal expertise to Havilah. Mark should be given a fair go and not removed under the present circumstances.
The ambitions of requisitioning shareholders are largely in accord with the current Directors and the EGM is an unwanted distraction that serves little useful purpose at this time.
