DIOS EXPLORATION RELEASES HOTISH DRILLING LONGITUDINAL SECTION: THE FIRST BUTTE ZONE IS OPEN ALONG STRIKE AND AT DEPTH
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA - DIOS EXPLORATION releases the first Butte Zone drilling longitudinal section: results indicate that the first Butte Zone, intercepted by hole 05, 07 and 08 is quite open for further volume up to the surface and at depth, as well as along the section.
This is a new uranium mineralized discovery in the Otish area as far as the location is concerned as well as the type of mineralization. Drill holes 08-363-05, 06 & 07 intersected at depth the same vertical hydrothermal looking altered biotite rich uranium-bearing structure.
Some 115-120 under the surface, drill hole no. 05 intercepted up to 0.093% U3O8 over 3.5 m (incl. in 0.04 % U3O8 over 12.5 m) and 5.9 g/t Ag; 0.26% Pb; 0.19% Zn over 60.2 m in hole no.5. The zone is open up to the surface.
At a vertical depth of 240 m, hole 6 returned 0.056% U3O8 over 5.1 m. Some 50 m laterally along the longitudinal section, hole no. 7 returned 0.083% U3O8 over 2.6 m at a depth of 150 m. Hole 7 also returned a value of 0.045% U3O8 over 2 m (0.031% U3O8 over 5 m).
Three biotitite rock boulders discovered a few hundred meters away in surface with traces of apatite, uranophane, and uraninite returned 0.461%; 0.679% and 0.937% U308 (uranium oxide). The source of these boulders is believed to be very close, particularly as these are biotite-rich altered rocks that could not have been transported very far away by the glaciers without being disintegrated. They could come from the same enriched structure as the First Butte Zone or from another zone.
The best drilling uranium oxide results are as follows:

Mineralization consists of disseminated fine grained uraninite in granitic altered rocks with smoky quartz and apatite and associated enriched biotite altered zones.
Hole 10 returned 0.048% U3O8 over 4 m U3O8 in another area.
The significant assays of the 60 meters-wide with 3-10% disseminated sulfides base metal zone intersected by hole 08-363-05 and some anomalous sections in hole 08-363-06 are presented in the following table:

All core-samples were collected and prepared by IOS Services Geoscientifiques, that supervised the drilling. Assays and checks were carried out at the Saskatchewan Research Council and ALS-Chemex (Val d`Or) laboratories. Core samples were all at least one meter long, split in two.
