Yorbeau Reports Encouraging Results From the Rouyn Property - 8.1 g/t Gold Over 7.0 Metres

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 25, 2008) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. ("Yorbeau"')(TSX:YRB.A) is pleased to report results from four Diamond drill holes on the Cinderella target of the Rouyn property.

"The Piche formation is much wider in this area and steeper - an indication of a strong structural thickening between the Lake Gamble and Augmitto areas. This is very encouraging for significant gold mineralization in this target zone," said Dr. Thomas L. Robyn, President and CEO. "I believe hole 464 penetrated the tip of a significant gold zone that plunges steeply to the west. We will offset this hole when drill testing of our eastern targets is complete, most likely in early November."

Four holes were drilled to test the Piche formation east of the Augmitto block. The Piche formation in this sector of the Cinderella block exhibits favourable geophysical characteristics (combination of magnetic low, resistivity high and moderate chargeability). The holes were drilled in two fans of two holes each (see accompanying drill location map, longitudinal section and target location map). The two eastern holes, 08-CI-465 & 08-CI-466, penetrated a thick, steeper portion of the target Piche formation, which has a true width of about 100 m in this area and has minor silicification (see accompanying cross sections). The two western holes, 08-CI-463 & 08-CI-464, penetrated similar thicknesses of the Piche but these holes also contain strongly silicified zones over 20-25 m core lengths (about 14-18 m true width). Hole 08-CI-464 exhibits one grain of visible gold at 261.5 m.

Lake Gamble target:

Step-out and in-fill drilling continues on the Lake Gamble target with one of the two drill rigs operating on the Rouyn property. Since the first six holes on this 2008 target were reported (see press release of August 19) an additional eight holes have been completed and the ninth is being drilled (see accompanying map). Visible gold has been observed in five additional holes (assays pending for 488, 489 and 491), as shown in the following table:

To date, visible gold has been observed in eleven of the fourteen holes that the Company has drilled on the Lake Gamble target during this year and 2006. This observation illustrates a high rate of gold intercepts and is a good indication that the Lake Gamble zone is indeed a potentially significant gold-bearing structure.

Bouzan West and Lake Bouzan targets:

Five holes have been completed on the Bouzan West target and assays are pending. The Company's second drill rig is currently drilling the Lake Bouzan target where two holes of the eight-hole program have been completed. Assay results are pending.

The qualified persons under National Instrument 43-101 are Thomas L. Robyn Ph.D., CPG, RPG, and Louis R. Bernier P.Geo., Ph.D., who have reviewed and approved the content of this release.

Samples are analyzed at ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. All samples are analysed by standard fire assay. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are re-analyzed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish. Samples returning more than 6 g/t and those with visible gold have their rejects analysed by a metallic sieve method. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of inserting blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assay laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.
