Thursday, May 01, 2008 Golden Harp Resources Appoints New Chairman, President and CEO
Vancouver - Thursday, May 1, 2008 - Golden Harp Resources Inc. (TSXV:GHR) today announced the appointment of Seamus Young to Chairman of the Board, and the promotion of Natasha Blackburn to President and CEO, effective immediately.
"Natasha has been instrumental in founding and building Golden Harp Resources Inc. from day one. She has been a Director as well as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President since the Company incorporated and was directly involved in the success of our oversubscribed $3.2 million IPO completed in February 2008. It is a natural transition to move her into the position with the title that she has earned. We are an excellent team and will continue to work together to advance the Company and build shareholder value. Given my responsibilities to my other companies, it is time to move into an oversight position with respect to Golden Harp and let Natasha continue as the executor of the day-to-day operations," said Seamus Young, Chairman. "I spent many years putting this land package together. I have always believed that there is tremendous potential for gold and base metal discoveries on this property. Natasha is a natural to push Golden Harp forward and work with her team to demonstrate the inherent value and blue sky potential of this incredible land position and this Company," he added.

Prior to that, Ms. Blackburn spent close to five years working with CNQ, Canada's New Stock Exchange, in numerous positions since its inception. At CNQ, Ms. Blackburn played a key role engaging the dealer community, signing the participating investment dealers and expanding the awareness of the new market. She was instrumental in launching CNQ's first business development office in Vancouver in 2005, generating business and market development opportunities while managing dealer liaison and communication nationally. Prior to joining CNQ in July 2001, Ms. Blackburn spent several years at Hume, Kieran Inc. a small cap investor relations firm, providing investor relations services to TSX and TSX-V listed companies. Ms. Blackburn holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.
