BULLETIN: Documentary about the Rare Earths broadcast on BBC Radio 4 program Costing the Earth
In
this Industry Bulletin, we bring to your attention a recent broadcast of a
documentary about the Rare Earth Elements ("REE") on the popular BBC
Radio 4 program Costing the Earth. On
this informative broadcast, the importance of the rare earths to green
technology is described by reporter Tom Heap while exploring for solutions to
the looming REE supply crisis.
During
the 30 minute broadcast, Tom interviews Rex Harris, Professor of Materials
Science at the University of Birmingham and an expert on permanent magnet
