      Diamonds North Increases Kimberlite Tally to 29 on Amaruk

VANCOUVER, September 25th, 2008 - Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:
DDN) announces the discovery of seven new kimberlites in 2008 bringing
the total to 29 on its 100% owned Amaruk property in the Pelly Bay
Diamond District of Nunavut.

A total of 46 exploration drill holes were completed on the property
using the percussion drill. The percussion drill was also used for
testing magnetic and gravity anomalies around the 2008 bulk sample
targets. The percussion drill cuttings for each kimberlite will be
processed for diamonds. In addition, core samples were recovered from
one of the newly discovered kimberlites (Qavvik-7) in close proximity
to Qavvik-5 and 6.

Representative kimberlite samples from the  percussion drill cuttings
will be analyzed for  diamonds.   Sizes of kimberlite occurrences have
not yet been determined.

Two additional ultramafic bodies were drilled. Their geophysical
signature is consistent with kimberlite; however, mineralogical and
textural characteristics of the rock require additional testing to
confirm the rocks as kimberlite prior to diamond processing.

Diamonds North has discovered 29 kimberlites to date on the Amaruk
property. Of the 22 analyzed kimberlites, more than 90% of the known
kimberlites are diamondiferous and 50% exhibit diamond counts that
require follow-up exploration. Hundreds of geophysical targets remain
to be tested on the property.

Bruce Kienlen (P.Geol) and Graham Gill (P. Geo) are Diamonds North's
qualified persons reviewing these projects. They are responsible for
the design and conduct of the exploration programs and the verification
and quality assurance of analytical results.
