Tyhee Gold Corp. (News - Market indicators) (the "Company") confirms that it has completed its non-brokered private placement of units (the "Units") at $240,000 per Unit for aggregate proceeds of $2,400,000 on the terms and conditions previously announced on December 27, 2012 (the "Offering"). Each Unit is comprised of 4,000,000 Common Share of the Company (the "Shares") and 4,000,000 transferable common share purchase warrant of the Company (the "Warrants"). Each Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase a further Common Share of the Company (the "Warrant Shares") at a price of $0.10 per Warrant Share within 24 months of closing. The Company issued an aggregate 40,000,000 Common Shares and 40,000,000 Warrants on completion of the Offering. All securities issued under the Offering are subject to a 4-month hold period from date of issuance.
The funds will be used to advance Tyhee's Yellowknife Gold Project, an advanced stage wholly-owned gold project in the development and permitting stage, as well as for general corporate purposes.
