MORE DIAMONDS FROM MONUMENT PROPERTY, NWT.
January 6, 2009: New Nadina Explorations Limited (the "Company") and partners Chris and Jeanne Jennings (22.11%), and Archon Minerals Ltd (20.4%) are pleased to report the remaining diamond counts from kimberlite recovered during the summer 2008 at the Monument diamond project at Lac de Gras, NWT. (NR Nov 5, 2008)
Kimberlite pipes Sparky, DD39 and Gemini are located in the southern cluster, and each returned significant diamond counts with a diamond distribution that suggests larger stones will exist. Sparky was tested with BTW diamond drill holes 35-M01-07 (Azimuth 225, Dip -45, kimberlite intercepted from 38.5-89.8m), 36-M01-07 (Azimuth 007, Dip -45, 19.7-66.4m) and M01-07 (Azimuth 138, Dip -45, 31.2-70.7m). Sparky is a pipe that consists of pyroclastic kimberlite with lesser reworked volcaniclastic and minor hypabyssal kimberlite. The combined 412 kg sample returned 207 diamonds with one stone sitting in the 1.7 mm sieve (Table 1).

Located 119 meters northeast of Sparky, kimberlite DD39, tested with BTW diamond drill holes 34-39A (Azimuth 144, Dip -45, kimberlite intercepted from 44.4-110.5m) and 37-39A (Azimuth 054, Dip -45, 19.2-96.0m) intersected pyroclastic and reworked volcaniclastic kimberlite in equal proportions. The combined sample weighed 192 kg and returned 91 diamonds, with the largest diamond sitting on the 1.18 mm sieve (Table 2).

The Gemini kimberlite pipe, located 29 meters east NE of DD39 was tested with BQ drill holes 24-02 (Azimuth 018, Dip -45, kimberlite intercepted from 48.4-89.0m), 27-02 (Azimuth 285, Dip -45, 25-53.1m) and 29-02 (Azimuth 285, Dip -57, 18.6-79.15m). The 348 kg combined sample returned 147 diamonds, with the largest stone sitting on the 0.85 mm sieve (Table 3).

At the west end of the central Blue Pearl Cluster, land-based kimberlite Sonja was tested with BTW diamond drill holes 41-Sonja (Azimuth 315, Dip -45, kimberlite intercepted from 19.9-54.4m) and 45-Sonja (Azimuth 315, Dip -59, 25.6-58.8m). The Sonja pipe consists of pyroclastic, volcaniclastic and reworked volcaniclastic kimberlite. The combined 198 kg sample returned 100 diamonds (Table 4).

From the northern cluster, land-based kimberlite Trio was tested with HQ diamond drill hole 46-Trio LDC (Azimuth 360, Dip -90, kimberlite intercepted from 6.0-121.5m) and previously reported BTW drill holes 12-2002 (Azimuth 360, Dip -45, 42.5-59.5m) and 13-2002 (Azimuth 018, Dip -45, 28.5-58.6m). All drill holes cut pyroclastic kimberlite. New results from Trio add 452 diamonds from 879 kg for a combined sample that weighed 1,015 kg and returned 558 diamonds. The largest diamond sits on the 1.18 mm sieve (Table 5).

The Monument Property has three kimberlite clusters known as the northern, central and southern clusters, which belong to the Lac de Gras kimberlite field, where high-grade kimberlite pipes are producing millions of carats of gems at the EkatiT and DiavikT Diamond Mines each year.
New Nadina is encouraged with the consistent diamond content of kimberlites, and the occurrence of larger diamonds that show a large stone distribution exists at the Monument Property. Larger sample extraction is subject to Land Use approval and not possible during 2009. Additional drilling on all kimberlites is required to determine pipe sizes as was confirmed with summer drilling of one hole increasing the size of pipe DD17. A spring program to conduct ground geophysics to establish targets prior to ice drilling and in preparation for summer drilling is anticipated. The 2009 exploration programs are being planned pending funding and partner approval.
The Monument Program is supervised by Mr. K. R. Kivi, P.Geol., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The majority of samples reported herein were processed, observed, sieved and described by Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), of Saskatoon, SK. The others were processed by Microlithics Laboratories, of Thunder Bay, ON and diamond recovery, sieving, description and reporting completed by I&M Morrison Geological Services Ltd., of Delta, BC. Mr. Kivi reviewed the content of this news release.
